Administrative Assistant
Framingham - Campus
Salary Range: $19.25 - $24.00/hour + sign on bonus (half paid after 30 days of employment and half paid after 90 days of employment; pro-rated for part-time).
Wayside Academy is looking for a strong people person who can warmly interact with our students, guardians, and partner school districts. This person will demonstrate strong customer service skills such as an outgoing and energizing demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to ensure timely responses to inquiries. The ideal candidate should have experience in coordinating information and data collection from multiple sources and be able to collaboratively problem solve with members of their team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in education settings/familiarity with special education documentation/environments highly preferred and will compensate accordingly.
    We will train you in: Motivational Interviewing; Courageous Conversations; Trauma Informed Practice, First Aid/CPR.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support for all aspects of the program including answering phones, customer service, scanning and maintaining student records, creating and maintaining spreadsheets, coordinating the creation and mailing of necessary student records (progress reports, report cards, behavioral notices, etc).
  • Assist program managers in coordinating student interviews, enrollment, and meetings.
  • Overseeing all aspects of the school’s clerical functioning.
  • Versed in all Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
