Description:

A 12 month fixed-term position has arisen for an Administrative Assistant, within the Careers Service’s Internships, Work Experience and Placements team.
This role is mainly responsible for supporting the awarding of our Work Experience Bursary (downloading bursary applications, responding to student queries, maintaining records or Bursary awards, processing Bursary payments) and providing general administrative support to other projects including Manchester Graduate Talent Scheme, Student Experience Internships and more.
We are looking for someone with good organisational skills and experience of delivering administrative support. This role is also suited to someone who is a strong team player with a focus on excellent customer service.
The role is hybrid with at least two days of the week to be spent working on campus and alongside other members of the Employer Engagement Team and wider Careers Service colleagues.
Please note, under the new immigration rules this role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route of the Points Based System. Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate their right to work in the UK in order to be eligible to take up the post.
