Who we need:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support, reporting to the Director, Practicum Coordination. The successful candidate will demonstrate high levels of organization, attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills. This is a remote opportunity, operating during standard business hours of the province in which the successful candidate resides.

What you will do:

  • Assist with coordination of submitting student hours to regulatory bodies.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Practicum Coordination and the Practicum Coordinator team related to the completion of forms required by regulatory bodies.
  • Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office, data management, and have the ability to quickly learn other software programs used in on-line learning.
  • Must possess the ability to work effectively with a diverse population of graduate students in a professional training program in counselling psychology.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and independently as needed.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. College diploma required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing support to professionals in a dynamic work environment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and effectively managing large volumes of confidential paperwork.
  • Possess strong organization and attention to detail skills
  • Experience working in a counselling, human services or social service agency would be an asset.
