Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Administrative Clerk to join our Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) team. The selected candidate will assist in providing sustainment support services (operational engineering and logistics support) globally for some 25,000 vehicles including the Army’s Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles, or MRAPs.
Important Note: Selected candidates without an ACTIVE German/E.U. Work Visa will be required to work the first 90 days in a Temporary role while obtaining their Visa. Once an E.U. Work Visa is approved, then you will be offered a Full-Time German Contract. If accepted, then you will be subjected to paying German taxes, obtaining German Healthcare, and working within the guidelines of the German labor system.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with military or commercial logistics supply system as well as automated and manual supply systems and equipment serviceability standards and criteria.
  • Willingness to travel to hostile areas is desired.
  • Willingness to travel to various US or OCONUS locations.
  • Willingness to deploy to all/any of these locations, including Southwest Asia and South-Central Asia.
  • Some OCONUS deployments may be to risky hostile ("war zone") environments which earn larger bonuses.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a (DoD) Public Trust clearance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
  • Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
  • Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must obtain or already have an active Germany/E.U. Work VISA to be considered.
  • Four (4) years’ administrative skills and personnel management experience with the ability to prioritize work tasks as they apply to internal processes and procedures experience.
  • Experience in providing administrative support and coordination to a contract, project or task(s).
  • Experience in preparing and managing correspondence, reports and documents, implementing and maintaining office systems, schedules and calendars, handling incoming mail and other material, cleaning and organizing facility offices, set up and maintaining file systems, collating information, and maintaining database.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or guidance.
  • Experience in operating office equipment and managing office space.
  • Proven communication skills in verbal and written disciplines to include basic computer skills and document preparation.
  • Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Possession of a valid European or German driver’s license is required (OR) the ability to obtain a valid driving license before beginning employment

Responsibilities:

  • Provides support to the PMO and management staff for program administration and section processes.
  • Communicates and coordinates with leadership and assists with administrative and office tasks.
  • Data entry and management, tracking schedules or assisting in duties to support management offices.
  • Support to maintaining offices and facility including coordinating or conducting cleaning, organization of furniture, adjusting space accommodation for department management and resources.
