Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Administrative Assistant to support our Private Client team’s daily operations at our office in Devizes. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, the ability to multitask, and a willingness to work flexibly. This role involves assisting solicitors, paralegals, and other staff by providing administrative support.
There will be a particular focus on supporting the compliance and anti-money laundering (AML) efforts of our team, as well as assisting with the administration of specific charitable trusts.

Responsibilities:

No two days will be the same in this varied role! You will be providing admin support to assist solicitors with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and answering phone calls, and also helping us to manage AML procedures by collecting, reviewing, and maintaining client identification documents.
You’ll support the compliance team in conducting due diligence on new and existing clients, and you’ll assist preparing reports for senior management, regulatory bodies, or auditors on compliance and AML activities. You will also get involved in conducting basic research or assisting in gathering information relevant to cases as requested by attorneys.
Your accuracy and attention to detail will be needed as you input and maintain data in the firm’s legal case management system, and we will rely on you to file and record keep accurately by maintaining up-to-date compliance and AML records.
Experience Required
At least 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within a legal environment.
