Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative Coordinator to provide exceptional support to our teachers, families, and CEO. This dynamic role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our busy school environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for education, and a talent for building relationships with students, parents, and staff. This individual will be a positive and enthusiastic team player with a “can-do” attitude, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the company by enhancing customer service and developing processes and protocols.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Post-secondary education ( college or university) is required.
  • Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Experience with children is preferred.
  • Exceptional ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with families and students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
  • A passion for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Superior organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive, “can-do” attitude and a strong ability to problem-solve.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting teachers and students.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $36,944.79-$52,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

  • Bonus pay

  • Weekends as needed

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

Experience:

  • Front desk: 5 years (required)
  • Administrative experience: 3 years (required)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to teachers, including photocopying, filing, preparing materials, and managing classroom resources.
  • Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, fostering positive relationships.
  • Manage a busy reception area, answering phones, responding to inquiries, and directing calls appropriately.
  • Handle difficult calls with tact and diplomacy, resolving issues effectively.
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for teachers and staff, including overseeing teacher schedules.
  • Maintain student records and databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of school events and activities.
  • Manage projects independently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Make customer calls to provide information and support.
  • Maintain academy organization, ensuring a smooth and efficient operational flow.
  • Maintain the tidiness of the academy, contributing to a welcoming and professional environment.
  • Maintain office organization and orderliness.
  • Provide direct administrative support to the CEO, including managing daily tasks and assisting with planning for the upcoming week.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
