As the Administrative Assistant, you’ll provide prompt, professional administrative support to internal departments and visitors to the administration office, as well as assisting the Corporate Secretary in supporting the Board of Directors.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing aspects of Board of Directors and Committee meetings, attending as recording secretary as needed.
- Monitor Board and Committee policies and workplans, and administrate the Board portal.
- Support planning and execution of annual events, including the Annual General Meeting, Business Excellence Awards, and Board Planning Session.
- Undertake governance activities relating to annual Board elections, including coordination of delivery and collection of materials for annual elections.
- Perform a variety of office support functions such as filing, sorting mail, and ordering office supplies.
- Maintain a neat, organized, and orderly front office, board room, and meeting room.
- Greet and assist visitors to the 3rd floor of SASCU’s Downtown building.
- Ensure compliance with the corporate records management and retention of records policies and procedures.
