Position Overview: Insurance Account Representative This is an Administrative Support Role including Service and not suitable for Full Time Students

REQUIREMENTS:
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas
- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Ability to make presentations to potential customers
- Property & Casualty license (preferred/must be able to obtain)
Total Compensation Range: $43,000.00- $47,000.00 Base salary depending on experience. Ability to earn commisions/bonus in future

These positions are with an independant contractor agent that is part of the Desjardins Exclusive Agent network. Not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. The agents employees are not employees of Desjardins. Independant contractor agents are responsible for and make all decisions regarding their employees.
Requirment to obtain OTL/General Insurance license on start of employment
Responsibilities:
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
- Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing & Office goals.
- Working with Sales team to support growth of office
- Outgoing calls to clients to set up appointments and market products available
