Salary: The salaries for these positions will generally depend on the qualifications and experience level of the applicant and can fall within the following ranges: $56,333 — $86,807

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

  • One year as an Administrative Officer I; or
  • Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management of staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor’s degree; or
  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
  • Detail oriented and well organized.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare utility expert witness contracts, purchase orders, and amendments.
  • Review and verify proposal amounts for utility expert witness contracts, purchase orders, and amendments with contract justifications for processing.
  • Review invoices from expert witnesses, process for approvals, and payment.
  • Prepare all necessary purchasing documents for office supplies, subscriptions, publications, office-paid memberships, equipment and furniture.
  • Assist vendors with questions on the vendor portal.
  • Reconcile purchasing card transactions.
  • Coordinate OAG surplus/facilities collections.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting/maintenance/service and monthly reporting on all office equipment.
  • Submit maintenance work orders.
  • Function as travel and conference coordinator, including completing required agency and registration forms and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and submit all travel expense reports for all staff.
  • Assist with administrative tasks involving existing staff, new hires, resignations, and retirements.
  • Function as Timekeeper, including SAP leave entry and preparation of certain staff payroll timesheets for processing.
  • Maintain state vehicle, complete monthly vehicle reporting requirements and submit pool vehicle requests.
