Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to join our Properties, Facilities & Development (PF&D) team on a full-time, fixed-term basis until July 2026, covering maternity leave.
In this diverse and fast-paced role, you will primarily support the Commercial Team, which manages the leasing and tenanting of Curtin owned and leased properties. Additionally, you will assist the Director of PF&D with executive tasks and provide reception support as needed, ensuring the seamless operation of our busy, deadline-driven environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administrative Support: Provide high-level administrative assistance to the Commercial team, including managing correspondence, maintaining accurate records, and handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Diary and Inbox Management: Coordinate and manage complex schedules and communications for the Director, ensuring priorities are effectively addressed.
- Financial Administration: Process invoices, raise purchase orders, and assist support smooth financial operations.
- Document Management: Prepare, edit, and format documents, reports, and presentations with precision, using advanced Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat skills.
- Event Coordination: Plan and manage meetings, workshops, and events, including venue booking, catering, and preparation of materials.
- Process Optimisation: Identify and implement improvements to administrative systems and workflows, ensuring efficiency and consistency across the team.
