Description:
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative / Patient Services Coordinator I in the healthcare industry, based in New London, Connecticut. As an Administrative / Patient Services Coordinator I, you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring efficient and effective patient services and administrative support.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage patient service requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain and update patient records, ensuring all information is correct and up-to-date
- Handle customer inquiries, providing exceptional customer service at all times
- Oversee patient accounts, ensuring all details are accurate and any issues are dealt with promptly
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless primary care services for all patients
- Assist with the coordination of patient care, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
- Utilize your skills in customer service and healthcare to provide high-quality support and care
- Ensure all operations align with local regulations and healthcare standards
- Work proactively to improve patient services and administrative processes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a high standard of care and service is maintained at all times.
- Must possess strong skills in Customer Service, demonstrating an ability to interact professionally and courteously with patients and staff members
- Knowledge of Medical Coverage is required, including understanding of policies and procedures
- Familiarity with HealthCare.gov, with the ability to navigate and utilize its features effectively
- Prior experience in Patient Services is essential, particularly within a healthcare setting
- A background in Primary Care is highly desirable, with an understanding of its principles and practices
- Local Candidates are strongly preferred, indicating a familiarity with the community and its healthcare needs
