Description:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A baccalaureate degree.
Responsibilities:
ADMINISTRATIVE AND SUPERVISORY DUTIES (20%):
- Coordinate and perform administrative support functions.
- Work with nursing supervisor to manage activities of subordinate clerical staff in various clinics.
- Collaborate with Regional Leadership on personnel issues, policy changes, clinic procedures, and implementation of changes and policies.
- Make recommendations to improve department operations
- Organize, review, evaluate work assignments, and rotates staff, ensuring smooth clinic
operations.
- Assist with policy and procedure interpretation according to OPH guidelines.
- Interview prospective clerical employees and recommend new hires.
- Approve leave requests, evaluate subordinate performance, and counsel employees on work related issues.
- Supervise training, orientation and development of employees
- Provide clerical support to other clinics as needed
- Serve as a back-up for staff vacancies within Region 3.

- The incumbent accepts additional duties not listed in the job description as necessary for the smooth operation of the Unit.
