Description:

The selected applicant will perform an integral and valued role as part of our small, esteemed administration team at the Boronia Police Station and will report to the officer in charge. The administration team are supported by an experienced VPS Team Leader who is located at Knox. The selected applicant may be required to perform duties at other locations within the division incidentally with duties outlined below.

Responsibilities:

  • Recording, monitoring, and archiving of briefs of evidence, files & correspondence.
  • Assisting with property/exhibit management, inclusive of the recording, handling, disposal and auditing of property and exhibits.
  • Liaising with peers, police members and stakeholders.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing postal mail.
  • Recording and accounting for expenditure within work unit; raising purchase orders, ordering and purchasing supplies.
  • Other administrative duties as directed.
