QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Five (5) year secretarial experience required, preferably within a hospital setting
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft, Excel, Word
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS:
- Shift- 8:30am 4:30pm
- Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings, conferences, and appointments for the Patient Access team.
- Preparing and editing correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Assisting with budget tracking and expense reports
- Coordinating itineraries for the Patient Access Director
- Maintaining office equipment and arranging for repairs when necessary
- Supporting special projects and initiatives within the Patient Access Department
- Organizing and maintaining confidential files and records
- Assisting in the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas and minutes
- Providing administrative support during departmental audits and inspections
- Facilitating communication between departments and external partners
- Assist with patient inquiries and direct the inquiry to the appropriate area/personnel for resolution
- Ordering office supplies and computer hardware when necessary
- Taking phone calls and messages for the Patient Access Director
- Collaborating with Human Resources for the recruitment of potential new hires
- Arranging the onboarding, orientation, and training of new hires
- Assisting in the training and supervision of volunteers
- Demonstrating good communication and customer service skills
- Performing all other duties as directed by the Patient Access department’s Director and/or Manager
