We are seeking to add an Administrative Services Assistant to support our Collections team for our Vancouver office. Our staff are crucial to the success of our Firm, and we are looking for someone who is not only a team player but possesses superior organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to handle a high volume of work with tight deadlines, and a keen attention to detail.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in an administrative setting in a professional environment
  • Administrative Assistant certificate from an accredited post-secondary institution or equivalent education and experience
  • Highly dependable and adaptable with great work ethic
  • Impeccable proofreading, grammar skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to communicate effectively and think strategically
  • Highly motivated to meet and succeed with client’s collection goals
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and flexibility to learn internal computer systems and processes
  • Ability to exercise discretion and respect confidentiality
  • Ability to maintain strong working relationships by working collaboratively in a team setting

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting documents and correspondence
  • Communicating with clients and agents as required
  • Contacting borrowers by phone and email to work out payment plans and settlements
  • E-filing and paper filing court documents
  • Managing files and updating databases
  • Providing over-flow support and vacation/leave coverage for legal support staff
  • Undertaking other administrative duties as required
