Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Services Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and various departments across our campus. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of finance, human resources, and president’s office functions.
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree Preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2 years of experience in professional office environment required.
- Demonstrated responsibility for follow-up on actions based on various team projects.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for all facets of Human Resources when needed.
- Conducts research of employee records, upon request of HR.
- Conducts employment verifications upon request.
- Assists with human resources related event coordination and programs such as trainings and employee engagement meetings and keeps meeting minutes.
- Responds to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, processes, and procedures.
- Provides Operations and Office of the President with project support.
- Works closely with the Director of Human Resources on key administrative and operational functions.
- Serves as HR point person for support in scheduling on-campus interviews and HR meetings.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive HR information.
- Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the University mission and philosophy.
- Perform administrative and office support activities for the Operations and Office of the President.
- Perform general administrative duties: managing calendars, meeting and training arrangements, as well as answering phone calls, assisting campus visitors, and routing of paperwork for proper approvals
- Provide excellent customer service to employees, students and visitors
- Performs other duties as assigned.
