Description:
Mid-Ohio Emergency Services, better known as “MOES”, is a physician partner owned and managed Emergency Medicine staffing company located in Columbus, Ohio. MOES works exclusively with OhioHealth to staff and manage their Emergency Departments.
Mid-Ohio Emergency Services was formed in 1998 and has proudly grown with OhioHealth throughout the Columbus Metropolitan Region. MOES currently consists of 80 board certified/board eligible Emergency Physicians with a combination of 50 Emergency Medicine trained Advanced Practice Providers (APP’s) -Certified Nurse Practitioners (CNPs) and Physician Assistants (PA-Cs).
POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting into the Manager of Administrative Services, the Coordinator of Administrative Services is responsible for managing and optimizing the schedules of APP’s (Advanced Practice Providers) to ensure adequate coverage and efficient patient care delivery. This role functions as the backup to physician scheduling. Responsible for all APP production and volume reports. This position provides needed administrative support for the APP division as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- This role requires the chosen candidate to sit on-site in Columbus, OH
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience in scheduling or administrative roles, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in scheduling software and computer systems
SKILLS:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple schedules effectively
- Problem-solving skills and attention-to-detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle confidential information responsibly
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS; MUST BE ABLE TO:
- Lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Move intermittently throughout the workday
- Sit for extended periods at the computer or in meetings
- See, hear or use prosthetics that will enable the senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met
- Utilize manual dexterity to allow completion of job functions like keying, filing, writing, answering phones, etc.
- Accomplish tasks via the electronic environment such as video conferencing and digital collaboration
- Work in an environment with moderate noise
