Everett Housing Authority is seeking a dedicated and experienced Administrative Services Manager to oversee administrative functions and support operations for our main administrative office. As the Administrative Services Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations of the agency’s Colby office in downtown Everett, WA.

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing day-to-day administrative and facility operations, including office management, file management, mail, supplies, and inventory.
  • Preparing and managing the budget for Colby administrative office operations.
  • Supervising frontline customer service and reception staff and providing leadership, guidance, and training as needed to ensure that the team provides excellent customer service to internal stakeholders as well as the public.
  • Developing and implementing administrative policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Serving as a liaison with external partners, vendors, and contractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in central services, office management, and administration, or related experience, preferably in a housing authority or government agency setting, including two years of supervisory experience. May substitute an additional four years of work experience for the degree.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, procurement, and contract management processes.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
