Administrative Specialist - Financial Aid Office
Position Summary:
The Financial Aid Office is seeking an Administrative Specialist to provide vital administrative support and excellent customer service. This role includes managing front-office tasks, communication, and assisting with financial aid application and award tracking. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak periods, and be open to learning and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide client advisement and manage scheduling.
  • Handle inquiries from students, parents, and others via phone and in person.
  • Respond to emails, maintain office supplies, and manage mail.
  • Assist with financial aid application and award tracking, prioritizing tasks based on federal aid requirements.
  • Take on additional tasks as needed to support the team.

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage escalated calls and refer them appropriately.
  • Familiarity with financial aid programs (training provided).
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a busy environment.
