Description:

Metis Technology Solutions, Inc is a 100% Woman Owned Business in the Aerospace and Technology Industry. Metis works on several contracts with NASA and the DoD supporting the advancement of cutting-edge technology.
We are currently searching to fill an administrative management position that will handle a variety of tasks within the Headquarters office and support our prime contract administrative activities. This position will be part time but has the opportunity to move to full time and future growth within the company.
Description: Provide administrative support by conducting research, preparing reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls and scheduling meetings. Prepare required documents through the use of excel, word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Microsoft Project is a plus. The right candidate may expand duties into supporting HR activities, procurement, travel and the management of small projects.
Position Requirements:

Tasks

  • Prepare reports, memos, letters and other documents using word processing, spreadsheets, dataset or presentation software.
  • Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages
  • Conduct research, compile data, and prepare papers for consideration and presentation to executives.
  • Greet visitors and determine whether they should be given access to specific individuals.
  • Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies and maintaining records.
  • File and retrieve corporate documents, records and reports.
  • Prepare agendas and make arrangements, such as coordinating luncheons.
  • Support the reception of new employees.
  • Support the Metis recognition program and leave management.
  • Event management.

Skills

  • Active Listening skills and ability to understand individual’s requests, questions and needs.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Computer experience with the ability to resolve computer issues with or without technical support.
  • Must have computer skills including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, databases, Graphics, and Internet. Specifically basic excel data calculations, and sorting features, and word processing.
  • Research capabilities.

Education
Associates degree; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
We will consider students working towards a Bachelor’s degree that is within 12 months of graduation. Must be able to support a schedule of 25 hours a week while school is in session.
Work Location
All work will be conducted in our Headquarters Office located at 2309 Renard Pl SE, ABQ, NM.
Individual should have their own mode of transportation to support office activities and supply management.
