Our company has an outstanding opportunity for an Administrative Specialist to join our team in Greensboro, NC.

SUMMARY:

The administrative specialist is responsible for providing a wide variety of advanced clerical, customer service and computer support and troubleshooting functions for the Northeast Greensboro branch.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-year degree in business or related field preferred but not required.
  • Two-three years of related administrative with some knowledge customer services and service-related work strongly preferred.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Professional appearance and phone skills are essential.
  • Ability to function independently in a multi-tasking environment
  • Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Comfortable communicating with all levels of management and employees.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent inter-personal and customer service skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general clerical assistance to the branch manager and team.
  • Answers calls - ensures customers, vendors and employees are handled in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Schedule work by determining customer needs and schedule availability.
  • Communicate information to other branches as needed.
  • Prepare reports, compose letters and routine correspondence.
  • Research information.
  • Order supplies
  • Operates and maintains a variety of office equipment.
  • Responsible for oversight of vehicle maintenance (ie. tags, taxes. scheduling service)
  • May act as a project manager on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
  • May coordinate calendars, schedules, meetings, and training.
