Court Services is seeking a skilled, ethical, confident individual to work at the Saskatoon Sheriff’s Office to provide comprehensive clerical support.
In an environment consisting of a high volume of mail, e-mails, telephone calls and counter inquiries, you will be providing program options and information to various stakeholders regarding the initiation of enforcement under the Enforcement of Money Judgments Act, The Residential Tenancies Act and other various Acts. You will be the initial contact for inquiries from creditors and debtors and/or solicitors, the public, other court officials and members of the Bar and Judiciary by phone, e-mail or in person. You will work closely with the Sheriff and Deputy Sheriff in an administrative support role, relating to matters such as documents for service, Commercial Liens, Writs of Possession, the Enforcement of Money Judgments Act and Juries. Other typical responsibilities include but are not limited to, performing complex clerical and reception duties including all financial and statistical matters, preparing Affidavits of Service, and drafting/typing letters and court-related documents. And compiling and preparing Jury lists for the Court of King’s Bench and The Coroner’s Branch.
