This position offers a base salary of $41,700.00 up to $55,500.00 . Final salary is determined by required qualifications, experience, and education for this role.

  • Minimum Associate’s degree or equivalent education and experience; bachelor’s

degree preferred in business administration, HR, or related.

  • Minimum 1 year experience in recruiting or related experience.
  • YMCA resident camp experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish priorities, manage deadlines, and exercise a high degree of professionalism in interactions with all levels of internal and external clients.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Commitment to the YMCA character development values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility is required

Essential Functions

  • Communicate with candidates, hiring manager and recruiter with status updates throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
  • Assess candidate information, including resumes, using the Applicant Tracking system.
  • Maintain recruiting and onboarding databases for accurate reporting.
  • Provides data analytics and reports to track HR metrics as needed related to hiring statuses and applications.
  • Move candidate through the hiring steps within the Applicant Tracking system.
  • General administrative support including responding to or assigning tickets, assisting with projects and new Y onboarding/offboarding.
  • Evening and weekend availability during peak hiring season.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
