Description:
Your Opportunity:
The Edmonton Zone Continuing Care Program is seeking an Administrative Support V to provide support to the Director of Specialty Programs. The Specialty Programs portfolio is responsible for delivering client care 24/7 in the community setting and includes Adult Day & CHOICE Programs, Children’s Home Care, and Palliative & End of Life Care Programs. As an Administrative Support V, you will report to & work independently under the guidance of the Director in support of the goals and objectives of Specialty Programs. You will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to provide administrative, secretarial, and project coordination support. The Admin Support V must be able to perform complex duties and organize multiple demands with shifting and time sensitive priorities. The incumbent must have the ability to respect the confidential nature of healthcare information per organizational policies. The Admin Support V will be responsible for generating reports, maintaining program information and operations manuals, and for supporting staffing functions including recruitment, on-boarding, payroll, time entry, applications for leave and other requests. Your varied duties may include preparing agendas and meeting minutes, typing/word processing and formatting of documents, spreadsheets, and graphs to create reports and presentation materials, scheduling meetings with a diverse group of stakeholders, complex calendar management; financial invoice preparation, site management; education, records management, and related documentation.Able to communicate effectively in English both oral and written. Will be required to provide coverage to other Admin Vs in the Specialty Program and/or Continuing Care portfolio.
