POSITION OVERVIEW

Under general direction, the purpose of this position is to provide administrative and general duties of the Detention Center Data Section.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED supplemented by knowledge, skills, and abilities gained through at least two (2) years of previous experience and/or training involving clerical or secretarial work involving the use of computer-driven records processing and database programs; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities:

An employee in this class is responsible for performing oversight of the day-to-day operations of the Detention Center Data Section. Responsible for:

  • Answering complaints
  • Update Pistol with received documents
  • Run daily reports

Coordinates with the Booking/Release Manager and/or Booking/Release Director, on the status of inmates going to court and those awaiting release from custody. Performs related work as required
