Description:
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Administrator to join the Paediatric Psychology Admin team as part of Psychological Medicine, based at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. This team provides an onsite administration service between the hours of 09:00 - 17:00 - Monday - Friday.
This is an exciting position that supports a multi-disciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of team work, have excellent attention to detail, be confident and willing to learn, able to find solutions to problems and able to cope under pressure.
The post involves data inputting of patient information, face to face and telephone contact with patients and clinical staff, writing letters and emails, and providing other general administrative support to the service and team.
The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, be well organised, have a sense of accountability, accompanied by an ability to work under time restraints and pressure at times. We are looking for someone who can offer good support to our colleagues, be a team player and work together to manage workload.
We will provide the necessary support to ensure your development within your role. We are keen to support and develop our staff.

To work closely with the clinical teams to provide high levels of administration support and co-ordination.
Arrange and attend meetings, including booking venues and hospitality if appropriate.
To be responsible for dealing with telephone enquiries and other communications with a high degree of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality.
Be the first point of contact for all enquiries relating to the Liaison Psychiatry and Paediatric Psychology teams, whether in person, by phone or via email, using discretion on redirection where necessary and providing advice where appropriate.
Ensure that those who make contact with our service experience excellent customer service and receive prompt and efficient response to their enquiries
