This is an exciting opportunity to join our Employee benefits team. Your role will be to support the Employee benefits team in the day-to-day administration of our corporate and individual clients. The role provides an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to gain valuable experience and exposure to a varied client base.
Main duties & responsibilities
- Assist the employee benefits team in relation to the administration of a portfolio of corporate pension schemes, group risk schemes and individual clients
- Day to day administrative duties such as processing contributions, checking new member documentation, drafting ad hoc communication, preparing client valuations, processing of all new business proposals and applications
- Assist the team in ensuring that all regulatory requirements are satisfied and the firm/clients/schemes remain fully compliant on an ongoing basis
- Work with the team to ensure compliance requirements are satisfied in processing any new business
- Liaise with all third-party service providers including Investment Managers and Insurance Companies to ensure client requests and actions are processed and completed in a satisfactory manner
- Adhere to company policies, procedures and controls to ensure the deliverance of excellent service
Requirements/ essential skills / attributes
- 2+ years’ experience in similar role
- QFA qualified or working towards qualification
- Ability to manage own workload, prioritising as appropriate, working to tight deadlines – strong organisational skills essential
- Ability to contribute to and participate in a team environment but also capable of working on your own initiative
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across departments, levels, firms and providers
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail with a flexible attitude towards work
- A strong work ethic and a good sense of urgency and priority setting
- Willing and openness to tackle challenges and assume responsibility client / projects as you progress within the role
- Professional telephone manner
- Good general IT skills and knowledge of MS Office programs
