Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE:
You will enjoy a varied and dynamic role, liaising with a wide range of people across the university and with external visitors. You will be the go-to person for Health & Safety matters, providing expert advice and guidance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking routine housekeeping to identify and address any H&S concerns.
- Carrying out Display Screen Equipment checks and delivering H&S inductions.
- Supporting the Senior Administrator with estates projects.
- Collaborating closely with the Senior Administrator (H&S) to provide an effective, efficient, attractive and safe working environment.
- School procurement activities, working within prescribed university policies and procedures using the relevant university systems in place.
- General administrative duties including shared inboxes, managing enquiries, and minute taking
We need a flexible, supportive team player who can juggle tight deadlines and prioritize conflicting tasks. You should have experience in working in an administrative role and a busy office environment, with proven ability to work as part of a team. Key skills include:
- Excellent IT skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge and experience of using finance and purchasing systems would be an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided
