Oakham Wealth Management, a UK-based investment management firm, is seeking a highly organized Administrator / Investment Support Assistant to join our remote team in. As a boutique company, this role is essential for supporting our investment and client services teams, and it offers opportunities for professional development based on individual skill sets and ambitions. This role is ideal for someone experienced in remote working and who lives within an easy commute to Stellenbosch, Cape Town.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with financial markets, investments, and wealth management.
  • Experience with LinkedIn and other social media platforms for business development.
  • Knowledge of FCA and GDPR compliance is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS:

  • Maintain a daily task list and manage ongoing projects.
  • Liaise with custodians to ensure accurate client portfolio records.
  • Monitor client cash levels and adjust portfolios as needed.

BENEFITS OF THE ROLE:

  • Salary Range: R20,000 - R25,000 per month, depending on experience.
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm SAST.
  • Leave: 15 days of annual leave plus South African public holidays.
  • Remote Work: Fully remote position; stable internet connection required.
