We are looking to add an Administrator to our Court of Protection team to be based in Sheffield. This role will require office attendance a minimum of 3 days per week.
ABOUT YOU
- Previous administrative experience is desirable but not essential.
- Empathy and compassion to help guide our clients through challenging personal circumstances.

- Proficiency in both paper-based and digital document handling.

Responsibilities:
The role of Administrator ensures things run smoothly and aids case progression by providing excellent paper-based and digital administration support. This enables our case handlers to really focus on our clients. The specific tasks of an Administrator may vary across departments, but they share key duties, and their skills and core competencies are transferable.
- Supporting teams with general paper-based and/or digital administration tasks, including but not limited to printing, document handling, preparing files for scanning, creating, uploading and amending documentation using relevant systems, archiving, e-filing, file and matter maintenance, and opening and closing files on relevant systems and/or programs.
- Ensuring all relevant tasks on the relevant case management system, database, or program are updated where required, and that all team files are in good order and in accordance with agreed practice.
- Handling and collecting data from case handlers.
- Working across multiple inboxes to ensure department tasks are completed in line with SLAs, both individually and as part of a team. Prioritising tasks where needed.
- Contacting external parties to gather information and resolve queries if required by the department.
- Ensuring incoming and outgoing post is managed efficiently if required by the department across numerous office locations, both in-office and remotely.
- Carrying out any other duties which may be reasonably requested by the Team Leader or case handler.
- Liaising regularly with the Team Leader or Department Supervisor to ensure work is monitored and feedback is received.
