Description:
Administrator - Logistics
The Administrator, Logistics (Consumables) at Paladin Airport Security Services is a crucial role responsible for efficiently managing inventory related to uniforms and consumables ordered through CATSA’s point system. Working closely with Screening Personnel, Field Managers, and Regional Operations Managers, the Administrator will oversee the ordering, receiving, storage, and auditing of inventory. Additionally, they will coordinate the recovery of uniforms in collaboration with the People & Culture Department for individuals who have resigned or been terminated from their employment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in logistics or inventory management is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including Field Managers and Regional Operations Managers.
- Proficient in using inventory management systems.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of CATSA’s point system and consumable ordering processes is an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Screening Personnel to assess consumable needs and place orders through CATSA’s point system.
- Act as one of the companies Signing Authorities to Process Transport Canada Clearance applications and renewals.
- Receive and inspect shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality of items received.
- Maintain accurate records of consumables and uniform inventory.
- Conduct routine audits to ensure inventory levels align with operational requirements.
- Work with the People & Culture Department to coordinate the recovery of uniforms from employees who have resigned or been terminated.
- Ensure timely and organized return of uniforms and related items.
- Collaborate with Field Managers at YVR to perform routine audits of inventory at various checkpoints.
- Liaise with Screening Personnel, Field Managers, and Regional Operations Managers to address inventory needs and challenges.
- Maintain clear and effective communication channels with all relevant stakeholders.
- Generate regular reports on consumable and uniform inventory levels.
- Document audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.
