Description:
We are recruiting an administrator for the women’s health unit. You will be required to provide efficient and effective clerical/admin support to the various areas within the Women’s Health Unit. You will provide support to the Colposcopy/Hysteroscopy Administrator and cover when required to the EPU reception area.
To provide admin/clerical support to the current establishment ensuring that the services provided is adhering to the Trust polices and Targets.
Help to maintain high standard of Patient experience within the Women’s Health Unit.

To ensure all clinics are fully utilised, highlighting any that are under or overbooked.
Booking in CWT patients within the cancer guidelines
To liaise with all Staff including those outside of Women’s Health to capture all out of office appointments and telephone consultation and record accurately on PAS to capture all entries to maximise financial gain.
To check outcome procedure codes are complete for each clinic to ensure correct payments are received.
To ensure all medical records (notes)/test results are available in clinic.
To make up ‘packs’ and prepping notes for Hysteroscopy clinics
To help with telephone calls to patients informing them of their appointment particularly the CWT as these are often the most difficult to contact and encourage to attend ASAP.
To ensure patients are put on waiting list, and are dated checking the Colposcopy patients had their results and where applicable follow up appointment booked or informed of their NTDD (next test due date)
To check all CWT patients have been dated within guidelines using current failsafe procedure.
To check all results are received back from the lab using current failsafe procedure
To check Direct Referral list to make sure we have received all direct referrals from the lab using current failsafe procedures
To ensure all patients are within CWT or Colposcopy guidelines and highlights any patients that could breech or any cause for concern
To cover the Reception area during breaks, Annual leave, Sickness, etc.
Any other clerical duties within the Women’s Health Unit as required by the Service Manager -Family & Women’s Health to ensure the smooth running of the Department
