Description:
Overall Purpose of the Job:
- take responsibility for the administration of all processes relating to admissions and oversee the work of Admissions Assistants within a School-facing Admissions Team.
- To support a culture of excellent service provision and continuous improvement, placing the student experience at the heart of what we do with support for a single PS team working flexibly across organisational boundaries.
- To support the Faculty of Humanities Conversion Team with activities such as applicant interviews, offer older days, offer holder pages and social media campaigns.
The successful candidate should have relevant knowledge and experience, including Student Admissions policies and procedures; experience of working in a team environment within a large organisation, with the ability to be flexible and provide support for colleagues; and good digital literacy skills with experience of, or willingness to be trained in Admissions systems.
Furthermore, they must be prepared to undertake work outside regular office hours including weekends as necessary. The University operates arrangements to recognise this working pattern and to ensure an appropriate balance between working and non-working time.
