Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all aspects of the admissions process including inquires, info sessions, grad fairs, travel to colleges and universities, interviews, application reading, scholarship calculation, and communicating with prospective students, applicants, and admitted students. This includes:
  • Develop a written strategic plan for each admissions cycle based on the previous years data and the upcoming years goals.
  • Research and develop effective strategies for recruiting graduate students that will support the goals for contacts and applications.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records on the admissions process.
  • Work with Information Technology Services Department and the Marketing and Communications Department to oversee Slate and website maintenance and functionality.
  • Develop and execute a marketing strategy.
  • Manage Earlham GPE social media platforms.
  • Have a support role in student life initiatives, 3+1 initiatives, and events when appropriate.
  • Various administrative tasks.
  • Additional duties as needed to support Earlham College
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred)
  • Strong writing and telephone communication skills
  • Comfort with learning and working with multiple technological applications (e.g., Slate, 25Live, Handshake)
  • Ability to work well in teams and collaborate effectively
  • Willingness to collect, analyze, and present data Revised 08/25/2022
  • Ability to set and reach goals, with the flexibility to adjust course as needed throughout the year
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Ability to work independently and be self-directed when necessary
  • Admissions and/or higher education experience preferred but not required
