Description:
JOB TITLE:
The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the admissions process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for prospective students. This role includes overseeing the receipt, review, and processing of applications, coordinating interviews and campus visits, maintaining accurate records, student contracts, and English language assessments, as well as providing timely communication with applicants to offer guidance and support. The Admissions Coordinator also works closely with prospective student leads and regularly schedules appointments with Admissions Advisors to foster strong relationships and ensure informed decision-making. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills are essential for success in this role, along with a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience in post-secondary education is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong business acumen.
- Sense of humour and the ability to laugh a couple times per day

Responsibilities:
Student Recruitment Coordination:
- Conduct initial phone interviews and schedule follow-up interviews with admissions advisors
- Collect enrollment deposits by payment due dates
- Assist admissions advisors with student nurturing as needed
- Collect Letters of Intent
- Assisting through the Student Aid process
Student Administration:
- Prepare student contracts and set up tuition payment plans.
- Process incoming tuition payments and send reminders for outstanding payments.
- Maintain and update student databases.
- Assisting students through the Student Aid process
- Student contracts coordination
- Student assessments (English Proficiency)
- Back End support for incoming students
