Admissions & Retail Team Leader

What you’ll bring to the team:
Right now, we have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Admissions & Retail Team Leader. Assisting with the management and coordination of our passionate team here at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary!
Leading by example, you will provide a courteous, efficient, and helpful service always, whilst overseeing the training and development of your team. Your duties will include, ensuring the smooth operation of all retail and admissions areas, actively promoting the sale of all retail goods, maintaining merchandised displays, and conducting seasonal reviews of the shop floor design.
You will also ensure that all stock levels are maintained and that all shop revenue opportunities and quality standards are met. In addition, you’ll support the Head of Operations with recruitment, training and development needs and weekly performance reports.
This role is full-time and given the 7-day nature of the visitor attraction, there will be regular weekend and bank holiday working on a roster basis. Therefore, you’ll need to be flexible with regards to working days and hours.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience of leading a team in a retail environment
• Have strong communication skills coupled with bags of passion and energy
• Experience of managing stock levels and visual merchandising (desirable)
