Description:

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic social worker to be part of our Adoption Team.
We are looking for someone who is committed to supporting adoptive families and special guardianship households throughout their journey and who can be creative and innovative in the provision of support. Our approach, our investment in our workforce, our culture of continuous learning and improvement, as well as our friendly and inclusive working environment is what makes us stand out from the crowd.
We offer agile, flexible working and in-house training with a focus on the wellbeing of our workforce. Ofsted stated in 2022 that “Children benefit from a consistently high standard of social work practice. The commitment to children as a priority for the council and across the partnership is exemplary. Senior leaders have created a culture in which social work has flourished. It is based on the importance of relationships, and of promoting children’s sense of being loved and cared for.”
To apply for this post you must have experience and demonstrate an understanding of the issues facing vulnerable children and young people. The successful candidate must be a qualified social worker and registered with Social Work England Interviews will take place on the 22nd November 2024
