Part Time / Up to 6 Hours Per Week / Permanent

Leicester Adult Education College offers a large and diverse programme of further education qualification courses as well as extensive community-based provision. We have a diverse, enthusiastic student community, taught, and supported by well qualified staff.
We are currently looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced tutor to deliver Counselling qualifications from Level 2 to Level 4. Ideally a practitioner, you should have experience of teaching to at least Level 2, but experience of teaching to a higher level would be beneficial.
This is a fantastic opportunity for suitably qualified, dedicated, and skilled adult tutors to join our successful team. As an inspirational and motivated adult tutor you’ll provide a high-quality learning experience that promotes achievement and learner progression.
You’ll be able to travel to a variety of settings and schools across the city and work outside of normal office hours to provide learning opportunities to a broad range of groups.

As an experienced tutor, you’ll prepare and deliver face-to-face and on-line courses to adult learners, ensuring that learning is properly structured, reflects current good practice and that assessment is robust to meet the demands of quality assurance. You’ll evaluate and provide continuous improvement to your teaching practice and have in place strategies that ensure maximum attendance, retention, and achievement. You’ll select appropriate resources, as well as use teaching methods and styles which promote active learning, to ensure that learners achieve their full potential in their learning journey.
