Description:

We are recruiting for a part time advanced clinical practitioner to join the Acute Frailty Team at Imperial. The Acute Frailty Team currently provides an in reach service into the Emergency Departments (ED) at both our St Mary’s and Charing Cross sites, assessing frail patients using a Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (CGA) framework, with the aim of admission avoidance.
The post holder must be a qualified advanced clinical practitioner.
The role will encompass the skills of assessment, examination, diagnosis and treatment within an agreed scope of practice throughout the ED and SDEC settings.
The successful applicant will have a passion for older people’s care.
Experience of completing a CGA is desired but not essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within this ever expanding area of practice, gaining skills that can be applied to other speciality areas where older people are being treated.
Please note that this position is for the St Mary’s site but the post holder will need to be flexible and able to work at Charing Cross as required.
