Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Qualified Dental Nurse to take that next step in their career and join us as an Oral health Educator in our 4 surgery practice in Beverley. We require someone who has undertaken the Oral Health Post Qualification for this role.

The role is for 24 hours p/week, however there is the flexibility to increase your hours by working as a nurse in one of our other local practices. This role includes:

  • Protected time in the practice to dedicate to your role as an Oral health Educator
  • Opportunity for training and career development

  • Working alongside an experienced Practice Manager and an established and supportive practice team

As an Oral Health Educator, your role will include:

  • Improving access to dental care and the delivery of evidence-based prevention
  • Working with the clinicians and practice team to ensure patients receive excellent care in line with Flexible Commissioning guidelines and {my}dentist values
  • Managing your own diary of patients, meetings and other activities such as visiting local schools to educate children on oral health
  • Working with Local Authorities and Community Dental Services

What experience do you need?
We’re looking for a GDC registered Qualified Dental Nurse with 2 years’ experience post advanced qualifications, ideally within Oral Health but this is not a must as this training can be provided.
