Description:
Hallmark is a Halifax based dental lab serving dental clinics and their patients in Atlantic Canada. We are looking to hire a creative Advanced Denture Technician to join our growing team. Your duties will include setting teeth and processing complete dentures, partial dentures and implant supported dentures. Our ideal candidate is someone with previous experience in high-end esthetic cases and implant supported cases. The Advanced Denture Technician works closely with our dentists and clinics in a co-treatment relationship.
To ensure success in this position, you should have extensive knowledge of all dental technologies and use your expertise while creating a safe and pleasing environment and high-quality products and services.
ADVANCED DENTURE TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS:
- Comprehensive understanding of dental implants and implant supported cases
- Degree in Dental Technology or a similar area of study
- Minimum of five years denture experience
- RDT or denturist qualification is preferred
- Strong time management skills
- Proficiency in keeping detailed records and meeting deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Technical knowledge of dental procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication skills are essential for working closely with dentists and clinics

Our growth has been the result of strong team, strong management and strong communication. Our hours are 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Set teeth for complete and partial dentures
- Gingiva esthetic wax up (festooning)
- Gingival cutback and pour on milled PMMA arches
- Trim and polish dentures
- Trim and polish denture products (custom trays, guides etc.)
- Assemble digital dentures
- Custom shades for denture products
- Sandblast and Bond repairs
- Denture processing (Pack, Ivobase, Pour, etc.)
- Communicate with support for denture hardware
- Work chairside with dentists to convert denture cases to implants and implant supported cases
- Keeping up to date with new dental technologies and advancements in the field
