SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Materials Engineering with at least 10 years experience in the oil & gas industry
- Demonstrated work experience and knowledge in the following areas :
o Welding/fabrication and Inspection/Testing
o Metallurgy and manufacture
o Materials selection
o Failure Analysis
o Corrosion control
- Able and willing to travel to work sites and shop fabrication locations worldwide
Responsibilities:
WHAT ROLE YOU WILL PLAY IN OUR TEAM
The Advanced Materials Engineer position shall be in the Asia-Pacific Materials Integrity Team which is part of the Materials Integrity department. The role is to provide engineering support to Capital Projects and Operations across all business lines.
Location – Menara ExxonMobil , KL.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Provide day-to-day engineering support for materials-related work
- Provides on-site field support during scheduled maintenance activities
- Provide materials specialist support for large capital projects and smaller regional projects to ensure technical quality
- Participates in programs aimed at improving unit reliability and optimizing maintenance
- Supports industry activities (MTI, API and NACE) where appropriate
- Trains/Mentors entry-level employees to support their career development
