QUALIFICATIONS

  • Nursing Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing, with ANP certification.
  • Registration: Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an advanced practice role, with a focus on ADHD or mental health.
  • Skills: Expertise in clinical assessments, medication management, and family-centered care.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to foster effective team dynamics and patient engagement.

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in providing ADHD assessments, delivering evidence-based interventions, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our clinical services. You will collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other team members to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clinical Assessment: Conduct comprehensive ADHD assessments and develop individualised care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
  • Patient Care: Deliver therapeutic interventions and medication management in line with best practices.
  • Service Innovation: Support the development and implementation of initiatives to improve ADHD care and streamline service delivery.
  • Education and Support: Provide education and guidance to patients, families, and caregivers on ADHD management strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and holistic care.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor nursing staff and contribute to clinical supervision and training initiatives.
