DETAILS
- Department: Pharmacy
- Schedule: 20 hours weekly, part time evening shift
- Hospital: Ascension St John Medical Center
- Location: Tulsa, Ok
REQUIREMENTS
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Responsibilities:
Perform activities or tasks in specialty pharmacy services. Perform specialized areas as medicine history, buyer and other inventory related areas, nuclear, and PAP as a pharmacy technician.
- Refill and maintain automated dispensing system.
- Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the specialty pharmacy areas.
- Repackage bulk medications.
- Receive and store incoming supplies.
- Serve as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing necessary information.
