Description:
As our Advanced Pharmacy Technician, Medicines Quality & Value you will:
Contribute to high quality and cost-effective prescribing across North Northamptonshire
Use professional expertise to facilitate optimal use of resources in relation to medicines in primary care
Support GP practice teams to make high-quality and cost-effective prescribing decisions
Implement local medicines policy and contribute to service development
As an Advanced Pharmacy Technician, Medicines Quality & Value, you will play a crucial role in optimising the value and outcomes of medication therapy for patients. This position requires a high level of expertise in primary care operations, clinical knowledge, and a focus on cost-effective medication management. The primary responsibility is to collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the safe, effective, and economical use of medications.
The Integrated Care Board (ICB) is a statutory body responsible for local NHS services, functions, performance, and budgets. The ICB works with local providers of NHS services, such as hospitals and GP practices, to agree a joint plan which says how the NHS will contribute to the local integrated care strategy.
