RESPONSIBILITIES

Ascension Seton is looking for an experinced Cardiology APRN or PA to work with the interventional cardiology service and cath lab. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to provide medical services to the patients of Ascension Texas Cardiovascular located in Kyle, TX. The role of the cath lab APP will be to facilitate throughout the catheterization lab including same day discharge PCI, seeing hospitalized patients, prescribing, ensure quality and safety and reconciliation of medication accurately.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Obtains patient history and performs assessment via observation, interview and examination. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic studies.
• Provides direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
• Counsels and educates patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
• Documents delivery of health care and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy
