Description:
To support the delivery of innovative cancer services an opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, experienced, creative and forward-thinking individual to join our team as an Advanced practitioner Treatment Section Lead Radiographer .
The post holder will play a leading role in the development; delivery and evaluation of current and new services and provide expert clinical practice, advice and support to the MDT. They will develop the work, patient pathway and staff and participate in clinical decisions regarding patient management within the multidisciplinary team, using expert knowledge to ensure the accurate planning and delivery of complex radiotherapy treatment.
Candidates will need to possess excellent leadership, management and communication skills. Applicants must also demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, be self-motivated, but also work as part of a team. Applications are invited from professionally mature, enthusiastic and innovative registered therapeutic radiographers.
The Advanced Practice Treatment Section Lead will be expected to provide expert clinical practice, advice and support relevant to this area of practice. They will be expected to develop the work, patient pathway and staff within their area and to seek to continually improve the service, whilst providing for the capacity and demand issues of the department.
