Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Physiotherapy as the Advanced Practitioner Physiotherapist duties for the role will include:
- Providing expert clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning and management planning advice for senior nursing staff and Orthopaedic trainees
- Providing expert clinical supervision and mentoring to senior and junior physiotherapy staff
- Ensure the effective management of human, financial and physical assets through appropriate planning and allocation of resources to achieve agreed Division / Unit / Ward / Service and strategic plans
- Facilitating and coordinating the Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal undergraduate and post-graduate Physiotherapy student clinical placements in DivRAP and as required, liaise with Academic staff at the Universities
