Introduction
We are seeking an Advanced Process Control (APC) Systems Engineer to join our APC Engineering team. You will be responsible for implementing Advanced Process Control (APC) systems in the North American region. This role requires a deep understanding of both the clients’ processes and advanced process control and vision technologies. You will be essential in ensuring effective project delivery and maintaining effective communication with clients throughout the implementation process. In this position, you will report to the APC Engineer/Implementer Manager.
This position can work remotely, however will include up to 50% travel to customer sites.

You will join a team of dedicated Engineers who are enthusiastic about Advanced Process Control Systems and provide high end service to Metso customers.
We work closely with internal // external stakeholders. Our team culture is all about team work as well as putting our “Customer in Center”. The members in our team are located in Canada and the United States.
What You’ll Do
Innovate and Implement: Bring cutting-edge APC systems to life for clients across North America, ensuring they align perfectly with client processes and leverage the latest in advanced process control and vision technology.
Be the Communication Bridge: Establish and maintain clear, effective communication with customers to ensure seamless project execution and build lasting relationships.
Remote Monitoring: Keep a close eye on APC systems from the comfort of your office, accessing client sites securely and efficiently.
Hands-On Experience: Split your time between the office and client sites to design, configure, install, and commission APC systems, gaining valuable hands-on experience.
Tech Savvy: Design, configure, and test analysis systems and related technologies both in the office and at client locations.
Global Collaboration: Work closely with APC Engineers from around the world to coordinate project tasks and ensure timely completion.
Project Management: Dive into project management responsibilities, including forecasting, organizing, planning, communication, reporting, and invoicing.
Customer Interaction: Play a crucial role in ongoing projects by communicating with customers and being an integral part of the project team.
Documentation: Write detailed reports and project documentation, contributing to product documentation and ensuring everything is well-documented.
