Idaho Falls Community Hospital is looking for a Advanced Security Officer to join our team!
JOB SUMMARY: Performs security officer tasks in accordance with job description and direction from the security supervisor. Acts as the first line of response and assistance for security measures on campus.

Education/Certification: Meets requirements for Idaho POST certification / possesses current certification as a POST basic Detention, Correction or Law enforcement Officer or higher or equivalent as determined by Security Supervisor. Current approval from Bonneville County Sheriffs Officer meeting current contract requirements
Experience: Appropriate full time background or equivalent in public safety or enforcement agency consistent with security function.
Equipment/Technology: Ability to type and complete basic reports. Ability to safely operate security tools and technology including intermediate level defense, restraint and safety tools. Ability to safely operate advanced safety and peace officer tools including firearms and less lethal devices
